The Perfect Lie (2026) with English Subtitles
Plot
The story follows two men and two women who, the day after their perfect first date, are swept in an unexpected direction amid a storm of truths and lies. Kang Ji Seon is a modern dance teacher at an arts middle school. As her family’s fortunes declined in childhood, she realized that filtering out others’ lies matters more than trusting their honesty. She initially believes Min Jun Ho, whom she meets by chance, is simply a well-mannered parent, but she gradually opens her heart to him. Min Jun Ho is a cardiac surgeon. He is a seemingly perfect man with a gentle and upright demeanor, a strong physique, high intelligence, keen instincts, and a kind personality. After raising his middle school-aged son alone following his wife’s passing, he meets his son’s dance teacher, Ji Seon, and experiences feelings of excitement for the first time in a long while.
