Against this backdrop, a secret team is formed by special order of the hospital director at one of Japan’s most prestigious private hospitals, located in the heart of Tokyo. Its name: the Maternal and Child Emergency Rescue Team. Their mission is to provide free medical care to pregnant women with nowhere else to turn. At the center of the team is Mitsui Aki, a highly skilled obstetrician and gynecologist.
