The Phoenix Perches (2026) with English Subtitles
Plot
Modern artist Su Xiao Chen transmigrates into the body of Feng Zhi Wei, a disgraced concubine banished to the Cold Palace. To survive, she begins creating illustrated storybooks under the pen name “Mr. Qing Qiao,” unaware that her protagonist is actually the Crown Prince himself, Gu Jian Chen. The Crown Prince secretly suffers from four distinct personalities: the gentle and refined Gu Jian Chen, the ruthless night demon Ye Xuan, the flirtatious nobleman Fu Yi, and the innocent youth Ruan Che. Feng Zhi Wei soon discovers that her kisses are the only key to triggering his personality switches. Thus begins a mutually beneficial bargain: he needs her help to stabilize the imperial court, while she needs his power and influence to secure her freedom and a future beyond the palace.
